May i have to format the MMC/FAT to use the linux in the arm?
If yes, how i format it?

For uClinux i make 2 partitions with fdisk under linux.
The first partition is a fat16 partition, there are pleace the kernel.
The other partition is a ext2 partition for the root file system.
