I verify all the connections but are ALL OK.
The CS_CARD led is blinking
I ask you: Must i FORMAT first the MMC/SD card and then insert it in the uclinux board.

Do you have connect PIN69 with R7 (10k) to V3.3 (Vcc) or test a other mmc/sd card. My borad work with the mmc part very fine.
I have format the mmc/sd card with FDisk(Linux) format type16 with 2 Partitions (1=fat 2=ext2). But I thing the filesystem is not your problem.
When you have a problem with the Filesystem the error code is "Linux.bin not found"! I thing you have a hardware problem.

DO you have connect PIN69 with R7 (10k) ton of V3.3 (Vcc)
YES, I CONNECTED AND I HAVE 3,298V there!
or test A OTHER mmc/sd card.
OK, i will try too to find one!
My borad work with the mmc part very fine.
I got the MMC 128MB (SUPER TALENT) and works very well in my
digital photography machine
I have format the mmc/sd card with FDisk(Linux) format type16 with 2 partitions (1=fat 2=ext2).
I dont have UNIX, only XP, may i use my digital machine to format it?
have some idea how can i do to format...
But I thing the file system is emergency your problem.
When you have A problem with the file system the error code is "Linux.bin emergency found"! I thing you have A hardware problem.
Well, i verify and all is ok, because i see the MMC transmiting something..
What do you verify from the ID? The ID card or some ID that you got to FAT16 formatted?

Why dont you copy the image from the Web Arm page unsing dd ?
I also have only xp so I used a port of the dd program and copied ulrichs image. So I got the 2 partitions on my mmc without the need of Linux.

When you use my Image think this Image is for a 14,3 Mhz Quarz.
Verfasst: 10.10.2005, 13:03:35
The image also has influence on the quartz.
Thanks for this comment, i used it with a 12 Mhz one.

Now the bootloader loader can show the LINUX.BIN not FOUND.
Please, let me know the procedure to FORMAT in 2 partitions in XP or copy the IMAGE...

If you have no Linux on you system, you can use Knoppix this is a Linux on CD. After that change to a shell and copy the Image with dd:
dd if=/image128mb.img of=/dev/xxx
If you need help type (man dd)

Ther is no need for Knoppix, you can also download the dd for windows.
f.e. from here:

But wich hardware do you use to estabilish communication with MMC/SD card. (MMC WRITE/READER HARDWARE)

Got success on MMC/SD format here!
Only the LINUX detected our MMC/SD programmer, believe!
Now, i will mout the RAM board !
One question ULRICH, why sometimes and i have to insert and remove the MMC/SD many times to the BOOTLOADER detects the MMC card.
